Uncrowned bugle in toned brass. 2x lug reverse. 45x34mm. While the bugle. Was used by various pre federation rifle regiments this one is most likely used by the Ballarat Rangers and Ballarat Ballarat Rifle Corps. C1860’s and probably had a red felt backing.

A good head and shoulders shot showing a senior NCO of the Ballarat Rangers c.1875 wearing uniform with sergeants rank Cheverons and a lovely cross belt with belt Ballarat Rangers and Rifle Corps plate and chained whistle.
