German made identity disc marked to “Stalag VIIIB “ and prisoner number “22185”.

The POW number is correctly attributed to PTE Geoffrey William Dayman, a Signalman 2nd NZ Division and captured during the Greek and Crete campaigns. The details can be found on the website

The standard issue Japanese Army officer’s sword of the Showa period. It has an overall length in the scabbard of approximately 1005mm with a blade length of approximately 690mm. A nice example of the wartime ersatz pattern lobster tail helmet 'Metalhelme' of the Jager-zu-Pferde. Has grey painted steel ersatz fittings and made by “Helbing and Sackewitz” in 1916.
