Australia WW2 Army Slouch Hat 1943

Army khaki fur felt. Press stud side with large rising sun hat badge. Khaki cotton fold Puggaree. Complete with leather sweatband with a Victorian makers mark and dated 1943. The sweatband 50% detached and needs some attention. The chinstrap is intact.

A rare piece of trench art to one of the most iconic and important Australian battles of WW2.

France WW1 Officers M1915 Kepi

A good example of the “Polo style” pattern. Horizon blue wool with subdued braid rank band for a “Sous-Lieutenant” and a Hungarian quarter foil knot to the top. The chinstrap also in the same semi fine wool. Missing one of the chinstrap buttons on one side. Black leather visor and oilcloth lining.

A very nice early QE II period service dress cap No.1.

Black leather visor with double row of gilt bullion oak leaves and aluminum anodized staff officers side buttons. Queens crown gilt bullion cap badge.
Together with a “Dickins and Jones” cardboard retailing storage box.

German WW2 Luftwaffe Officers Belt..

Wide60 mm light brown leather officer’s waist belt. Grey zinc alloy double claw buckle. Provision for cross strap. Berlin maker marked and dated 1942 on the reverse of the buckle. WW1-WW2 Military Cross Medal Case.

An original case of issue c.WW1 or WW2 period.
Composed of wood and purple leatherette, exterior presents an impressed kings crown on the top in gilt, the interior is composed a crème coloured silk lid with a velvet medalbed, measures 75.19mm (w) x 128.52mm (h), 20.08mm (d), hinge and clasp functional. The lid now with extended light exposure and now with a pinkish colour tone.
