This is a very nice British WWII PIAT Anti-Tank Bomb Launcher "Bomb, Practice Inert/AT" practice round. As is correct, it is painted black with a yellow ring. These were the same size and weight as a live round, with no warhead, but has a live propellant cartridge. They could be fired once from a standard PIAT, and were not reusable.
