WW1 Original Colour Patch

1st Australian Wireless Squadron.

Probably locally made, hand embroidered. Not exactly a full size patch but not a miniature either and I’m sure that it was intended to be a full size patch. As well as being locally made in Egypt, India and Mesopotamia they were known to be also made by wives and girlfriends back in Australia and correct dimensions were not exactly known.
This example is 30mm x 30mm.
