British WW2 Arctic Star

This medal is awarded to any and all Military and Merchant Navy personnel who served or operated in regions North of the Arctic circle during the Second World War.

Primarily awarded to Royal Navy and RAF personnel, who ensured the Arctic convoys reached Russia, providing a vital flow of military equipment to our Russian allies during WW2. Conditions were harsh and dangerous, this new medal was instituted to recognise their bravery and service to our country.

These medals are British made, deep struck in brass. Full size. Quality striking.
