WW1 Zeppelin L15 Souvenir Brooch

A fine little souvenir brooch made from the German zeppelin airship L15 ( LZ48) that was shot down in the Thames estuary during a raid on London 1/4/1916.

Aluminum top bar engraved “Portion of Zepp” and fitted with a brooch pin reverse with a pendant cross in aluminum and also engraved “ L15 Strafed in Thames 1-4-16”. Approx 30mm x 30mm.
