Australia WW2 Colour Patch

VDC (Volunteer Defence Corps). Slouch hat patch. This is the correct official patch to be worn on the slouch hat Puggaree. Embroidered on wool felt. Mint unissued example. Whilst may of the woven type patch indicating previous h was worn on the Puggaree they were meant for water on the tunic. Supply and lack of official orders saw them being worn profusely on the hat. This example is the official hat version.
